Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C).
In a bowl, mix the flour and baking powder. Set aside.
In another bowl, beat the brown sugar and butter
Add the eggs, vanilla extract and beat until creamy.
Add the flour mixture and the rest of the ingredients.
Pour the dough into a greased 9″ x 13″ (23cm x 33 cm) rectangular mold.
Bake in the center of the oven for 30 minutes or until the center of the dough is set, but not too firm.
Remove from the oven and let cool completely (very important) before cutting into squares.
These squares can be frozen.
