Sift together the flour, baking powder, powdered sugar and salt.

Arrange the apple slices on the dough.
Sprinkle with butter flakes.
Beat the egg yolks and cream.
Pour the preparation over the apples.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the fruit is tender. Serve warm or cold. Cut into wedges.
