1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. Rehydrate the cranberries in the ice cider. Peel and core the apples, cut them into quarters.
3. In a saucepan, melt 20 g of butter. Add the apples and cook until they are golden brown. Add the vanilla sugar and mix. Add the ice cider and cranberries; cook for another 3 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat, add the nuts and let it cool.
4. In a large bowl, work with your fingers the flour, sugar, and the rest of the butter in small pieces to obtain a coarse crumb.
5. Arrange the apples and nuts in a baking dish. Cover with the crumble mixture.
6. Bake for 15 minutes. Serve warm, lukewarm, or cold, with ice cream.
