Preparation

Brush the oranges under warm water, then remove a fine layer of the orange zest using a zester, making sure to only keep the orange part.
Place the orange zest, cinnamon, cardamom pods, and vanilla bean in a large jar.
Add the vodka, then close the jar and let it rest for a week, shaking the container every day.
After a week, bring the water and sugar to a boil until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the sugared water into the jar with the flavored vodka and let it rest for another week, stirring regularly.
After a week, filter the Arancello and transfer it to bottles.
Slide a little orange zest, cinnamon, a vanilla bean, and a cardamom pod into each bottle.
Store the Arancello in a cool place. It can be kept for up to 6 months.
