1. Chop the parsley. Wash and chop. Chop the sun-dried tomatoes; set 2 aside for garnish.
2. In a large quantity of salted water, cook the bavette pasta al dente. Drain, and reserve 3 tablespoons of cooking water; put the pasta in a deep frying pan.
3. Add the extra virgin olive oil, tomatoes, tomato sauce, red pepper flakes, chopped garlic, salt, and 1 tablespoon of the reserved cooking water. Cook for a few minutes over medium heat, stirring with a large fork.
4. Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with the reserved sun-dried tomatoes and parsley. Serve immediately.
