1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. Cut the grapefruits in half. Using a grapefruit knife, cut around the flesh and between the membranes to release the grapefruit segments.
3. Sprinkle 2 halves of grapefruit with maple sugar and the other 2 halves with crushed macarons.
4. Place the grapefruit halves on a baking sheet and bake for about 8 minutes or until the sugar is melted and the grapefruits are very hot.
5. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
