Ingredients
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 450 F (230 C).
Mix together in a bowl, the flour, sugar, baking powder, chives, and salt.
Place the butter in the middle and incorporate it into the flour mixture using your fingers (or with a pastry cutter) until you get a coarse crumb.
Combine the milk and egg and add this mixture to the flour mixture to form a sticky ball.
Transfer to a floured work surface and divide the dough into ten equal parts.
Shape the pieces of dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
Flatten the balls with your fingers to give them a fairly regular galette shape.
Brush with the egg + water mixture.
Bake in the center of the oven for 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
Cream Cheese with Dill:
Whip the cream cheese, sour cream, dill, ground fennel seeds, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Pour the preparation into a bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve.
