2. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
3. In a mixer, with a flat beater, mix the sugar and butter until the mixture is white and fluffy. Add the eggs one by one, beating after each addition. Add the flour gradually.
4. Butter and sugar a cake mold.
5. Fill the mold with the mixture up to three quarters and bake for 25 minutes.
6. Remove from the oven and serve the sliced cake with the chocolate-pepper sauce.
