3. Add the egg and vanilla and mix.
4. Add the flour, cardamom, and baking powder. Mix well and quickly.
5. Using a cookie scoop, place small balls of biscuit dough, well spaced, on a baking sheet. Add the candied pineapple, poking it onto each ball of dough.
6. Bake for about 8 minutes. Remove from oven and transfer to a wire rack.
7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
