Preparation
Put all the ingredients in the bread machine bowl, in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
Dough program
At the end of the program, remove the dough from the machine and let it rest for 30 minutes under a bowl.
Roll out the dough on a floured work surface into a large rectangle.
Spread the butter in the middle in thin layers and fold into 3.
Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Turn the dough 1/4 turn and roll out again.
Fold into 3 and refrigerate again for 10 minutes.
Repeat the operation 3 times.
Then roll out the dough and cut into a large rectangle.
Cut in 2 to get 2 large strips, then divide these strips into 4 identical pieces.
Place the chocolate bars at the edge of the dough and roll without tightening too much.
Place the chocolatines on a biscuit sheet lined with a silpat.
Cover with a cloth and let rise for 1 hour.
Beat the egg and brush the chocolatines, avoiding the edges.
Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 425 F (220 C).
