Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 300F.

2. In a bowl, mix the candied fruits, raisins, walnuts, juice, and Grand Marnier. Cover and let it marinate for 24 hours.

3. The next day: in a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and Jamaican allspice. Pour the flour mixture over the fruit and nut mixture. Mix well and reserve.

4. Using a mixer with a flat beater, mix the butter and brown sugar until the preparation is fluffy. Add the eggs one by one, mixing after each addition. Add the fruit, nut, and flour mixture.

5. Grease and sugar the cake mold.

6. Fill the molds and cook in a water bath for 1 hour.

7. Remove the cake from the water bath and finish cooking in the oven for another 45 minutes.

8. Remove from the oven. Unmold and let cool completely on a grid before serving.
