Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C). Generously butter a 9″ to 10″ (23 to 25 cm) bundt pan or use 12 mini silicone bundt pans.
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Cream the butter and sugar.
Add the vanilla, then the eggs, one at a time, beating well between each addition.
Lower the mixer speed and add the bananas.
Add the dry ingredients, alternating with the heavy cream, and mix well.
Pour the mixture into the pan(s) and smooth the top.
Bake for 65 to 75 minutes for the large format and 30 minutes for the small ones.
Let cool for 10 minutes before unmolding onto a rack.
