Heat a pan until it’s really hot. Grill each slice of ciabatta for a few minutes on each side until it’s well browned.

Season well with salt and pepper, sprinkle with sliced chili pepper and basil leaves, and grate the lemon zest on top. Finish with another drizzle of olive oil.
