1. Peel the onions. Peel the bell peppers. Cut the onions and bell peppers into regular large pieces.
2. Thread the fish cubes onto skewers, alternating with pieces of onion and bell pepper. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and pastis. Season with salt, pepper, and anise seeds.
3. On a plate, pour 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Turn the skewers in the oil. Cover and refrigerate for 40 minutes.
4. In a hot non-stick pan, over medium heat, cook the skewers in the remaining oil, turning them on all sides (approximately 8 minutes). Drizzle with lime juice.
5. Arrange the skewers on plates and serve immediately with a small salad.
