Preheat the oven to 375 F (190 C).
Butter a deep 9″ (23 cm) diameter dish (I used 6 cups and 1 bowl). Set aside.

Mix together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
Incorporate the butter with a pastry blender or with your fingers until the mixture has pea-sized pieces.

Incorporate the cream by mixing with a spatula until everything is well combined.

Mix all the ingredients for the fruit topping.
Pour the preparation into the prepared mold(s) and cover with pastry.

Cook for 60 minutes or until the top is well risen and golden brown.
Let the cobbler cool for 30 minutes before serving with ice cream.
