Heat the milk with the split vanilla pod, vanilla extract, milk powder, and sugar until the temperature reaches 180°F (82°C).

Let cool until 108-112°F (42-44°C).

Remove the vanilla pod, scraping out the seeds with the tip of a knife.

Mix in the yogurt culture packet, whisking well to combine.

Pour the mixture into containers and let incubate overnight (at least 8 hours).

Refrigerate and enjoy.
