1. Prick the sausages. Peel and chop the onions. Rinse, dry and slice the zucchinis and fennel into thin rounds. Chop the tomatoes.

2. In a pot, heat the oil and brown the sausages. Remove the sausages and sauté the onions until they are lightly colored. Add the zucchini slices and tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.

3. Put the sausages back in the pot and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Add the olives 5 minutes before the end of cooking. Sprinkle with basil leaves and serve.
