Preparation
Muffins:
Preheat the oven to 375 F (190 C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners. Set aside.
Combine the flour, poppy seeds, salt, baking powder, lemon zest, and sugar.
Add the pear cubes and mix gently to avoid them falling to the bottom of the muffins. Set aside
Mix the melted butter, eggs, yogurt, and lemon juice.
Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, mixing with a fork without overworking the dough.
Divide the batter among the paper liners, then bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean and the tops of the muffins are lightly browned.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes in the pan before transferring to a cooling rack.
Wait for the muffins to cool before glazing.
Glaze: Mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth and consistent.
Put the glaze in a small pastry bag and glaze the muffins.
