1. Mix the flour, powdered sugar, and baking powder.

2. Add salt, vanilla sugar, egg yolk, lemon zest, and cream, then mix.

3. Add softened butter.

4. Form a ball, wrap in plastic film, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

5. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm and cut out circles with a cookie cutter.

6. Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

For the glaze, once the cookies have cooled:

7. Mix a little water with the powdered sugar until you get a smooth paste.

8. Glaze the top of the cookies and decorate with candy cane pieces.
