In a saucepan, put the following ingredients: beans, cabbage, carrots, turnips, and can of tomatoes.
Cover and cook for 1/2 hour.
In the meantime, in a medium saucepan with hot olive oil, sauté the chopped onion until it is tender and golden, about 5 minutes.
Add the chopped tomatoes, celery, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook slowly for 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the spaghettinis or other pasta to the mixture. Cover and cook slowly for 30 minutes.
Serve the soup hot. You can sprinkle a few parmesan cheese shavings for the perfect Italian touch.
