Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. Rehydrate the cranberries in the ice cider. Peel and core the apples; cut into quarters.
3. In a saucepan, melt 20 g of butter. Add the apples and sauté until they are golden brown. Add the vanilla sugar and mix. Add the ice cider and cranberries; cook for another 3 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat, add the nuts and let cool.
4. In a large bowl, work the flour, sugar, and remaining butter with your fingertips to obtain a coarse crumb.
5. Pour the apples and nuts into a baking dish. Cover with the crumble mixture.
6. Bake for 15 minutes. Serve warm, lukewarm, or cold with ice cream.
