Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C).
Prepare the baking sheets by covering them with parchment paper or silicone mats.

In a bowl, mix together the oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
Set aside.

In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream together the butter and peanut butter with the sugar and brown sugar until the mixture is light and creamy.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add the reserved dry ingredients and mix well.
Add the chopped chocolate and mix with a spatula.

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches (5 cm) apart.
Bake for 13 to 15 minutes.
Let the biscuits rest for a few minutes on the baking sheets before transferring them to a wire rack to cool.
