Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C).
Butter a Pyrex mold, round of 9 po (23 cm) and line it with parchment paper. Butter the parchment paper again.

Sift together the flour and baking powder.
Beat the eggs and sugar until the mixture whitens.
Add the water then the flour and mix well.
Add the melted butter and mix.
Incorporate the pear slices into the batter by mixing gently to avoid breaking the slices and coating them with batter.
Pour into the prepared mold and even out the surface with a spatula.

Bake for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
Let it cool completely before unmolding and cutting into points.
