1. In a hot wok, pour 1 c. of vegetable oil.

2. Cook the chicken, stirring frequently. Remove the chicken and set aside. Drain excess fat from the pan.

3. Cook the garlic and onion in the same pan for 2 minutes. Add the cooked chicken, carrots, green onions, and cabbage. Season with pepper, salt, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.

4. Place a little of the mixture on the squares of pastry and fold into 3. Wet the edges to seal.
Fry the rolls for 1 to 2 minutes, until all sides are golden. Drain.

5. Serve immediately.
