1-In a large pot of salted water, boil the pork ribs for 20 minutes.
2-Preheat the oven to 375°F.
3-Drain the ribs and transfer them to a baking dish. Peel the ginger root and slice it thinly.
4-Season the pork ribs with salt and pepper. Brush with maple syrup and cover with ginger slices. Add 2 cups of water to the bottom of the dish.
5-Bake and cook for 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
6-Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
