1. Cut the melon in half lengthwise. Place it flat on a cutting board and peel the melon. Remove the seeds and cut into thick slices.
2. In a hot pan, melt the butter. Add the curry powder and flaky sea salt.
3. Place the melon slices and cook until browned on both sides. Pour the cane sugar over the melon and reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 3 minutes.
4. Serve hot.
