Tips
– You can also add an alcohol or flavor that you mix or let infuse with the cream.
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. In a mixer, with a flat beater, mix the butter and sugar. Add the vanilla and eggs one by one, mixing after each addition. Add the sifted flour and baking powder.
3. Form large balls of dough with your hands. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
4. Remove the balls from the refrigerator. Cut into slices and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Space them out so they don’t stick together.
5. Bake for 8 minutes.
6. Remove from the oven and let cool on a rack.
7. Cut the chocolate into pieces.
8. Heat the cream until boiling. Pour over the chocolate and mix slowly with a spatula until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is homogeneous. Add the butter in small pieces and mix until incorporated.
9. Spread a little ganache on each biscuit with a spoon. Let cool to harden.
10. Decorate with chocolate vermicelli.
