In a skillet, heat the oil.
Add the garlic and salmon.
Lightly brown the fish for 4 to 5 minutes on each side
In a bowl, mix all the other ingredients (except coconut milk, the second part of the water, and salt).
Pour everything into the skillet and simmer for 3 minutes.
Mix the coconut milk with the boiling water and salt, and pour into the skillet.
Cover and simmer for 7 minutes.
The sauce should be thick while remaining quite fluid.
Serve immediately.
