Preparation
Finely chop 4 slices of prosciutto.
Cut the mozzarella into small pieces.
Chop the sage.
Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C).
In a bowl, mix the meat, chopped prosciutto, tomato sauce, sage, mozzarella, eggs, and breadcrumbs.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Divide the preparation into 6 pastry circles.
Cut the remaining 6 slices of prosciutto in half lengthwise.
Surround the meatballs with 2 slices of prosciutto, then place them on a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Serve immediately with risotto or fresh pasta.
