Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C).
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside.

Reduce the oven to 300 F (150 C).
Heat the oil over medium heat in a medium non-stick skillet.
Add the mushrooms, onions, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
Cook, stirring occasionally, for 8 minutes or until the vegetables are tender and golden. Add the tomato juice and balsamic vinegar and bring to a boil.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the liquid has reduced a bit.
Stir in the parsley and remove the skillet from the heat.

Spread the preparation over the baguette slices.
Top with cheese slices and bake for 8 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
