Put them in the pot. Add ginger, sugar, water, lemon juice and zest.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
Let cool and strain. Add the Curaçao.
In a transparent bowl, arrange the sliced strawberries and pour the syrup over them.
Garnish with sprigs of melissa or mint.
