Preparation

1. Wash the mandarins under running vinegar water, then cut them into thin slices, keeping the skin.

2. In a large earthen pot or glass jar, layer the mandarin slices and sugar alternately.

3. In a saucepan, heat the brown sugar and 200 ml of water over low heat to obtain a clear syrup. Let cool.

4. Pour the obtained syrup into the pot and close it hermetically.

5. Refrigerate for a week, it’s ready!
