Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Butter a removable mold of 7″ (17.5cm) in diameter.
Whisk the eggs and sugar for 3 minutes with an electric mixer.
Add the flour, salt, and baking powder, which have been sifted beforehand, and mix well.
Heat the milk in a saucepan until it’s warm but not boiling, then let the butter melt in it.
Add the milk to the mixture and mix well for 1 minute.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
The topping:
Mix all the topping ingredients in a bowl.
Pour the topping over the cake coming out of the oven and put it under the broiler for a few minutes.
